Welcome to Ker Ar Men charming Guesthouse !
chambres d'hôtes de charme
Ker Ar Men (meaning the stone house in Breton) is located in Brittany, in the Trégor area, at the town of Minihy-Tréguier, Côtes d'Armor, the birthplace of Saint Yves.
The guesthouse is on the outskirts of Tréguier, little city of character, outstanding with its typical half-timbered houses, its cathedral and gothic cloister, and its small marina.
Within only 8 km of the sea, you will be able to enjoy discovering the Côte Sauvage (Wild Coast), its quiet beaches and an abundance of stunning landscapes. You will love these typical little villages and their vividly coloured open air markets!
The house itself is a reflection of your hosts’ love of beautiful antique objects. Antique dealers and cabinetmakers, they decorated and furnished it with antiques and souvenirs brought back from their travels.
Although Ker Ar Men is located near the town and its full facilities, it enjoys a bucolic environment, surrounded with woods and pastures, on the edge of a quaint sunken lane bordered by chestnut trees, which will quickly lead you to the trout river of the Guindy.
Built at the onset of the XIXth Century with the typical architecture of the Trégor as a farmhouse, Ker Ar Men stands like a lighthouse in the countryside of Brittany, a starting point for our hosts to explore many surrounding sites.
